The chainsaw will not start? The engine idles? The car overheats too quickly or does not take turns? Here are a number of possible problems that you may have with your chainsaw and related solutions.
Attention! Always turn off the machine and disconnect the spark plug before performing any maintenance (unless specifically requested to the contrary).
The engine does not start (or shuts down immediately after startup)
Possible causes- The switch lever is in the "off"
- There is no spark
- Is the engine flooded
| Solutions- Port on the switch lever to "on"
- Check the spark with a few hits of the starter. If there is no spark it may be that the problem is due to the fact that the non-switching on of the machine causes a flood of the same. Then remove the spark plug and blowing the inside of the combustion chamber with an air compressor to dry it. Forgive the spark plug and try to turn the chainsaw on. If that doesn't work try changing the spark plug and try again.
- If the engine is flooded, contact a service center
