When you must buy a high pressure cleaner there is always the dilemma: is it better to cold water or hot water? As always, it depends on what work you need to do.
The high pressure cleaners are distinguished by three main features:
The pressure of the water in output
Indicates how much pressure the washer works. It is an important but not fundamental.
For example, a machine that delivers an ultra high pressure but has a water jet that case is almost useless.
Water flow
Indicates how many litres of water the pressure washer is capable to throw out. Also this is important but always in relation to the pressure. Have a scope very high, then a jet of water is very rich, but with a pressure that low serves no purpose.
Hot water – cold water?
In some cases, a hot water pressure washer is useless and vice versa.
If you use the machine to wash the floor outside of the house, the bike, the bodywork of the car, the lawn mower and, in general, surfaces dirty, but not greasy, a high-pressure cleaner cold water with a good mix between pressure and flow rate will be fine.
If, however, the surface wash is greasy and/or dirty fat: you need a pressure washer with hot water, if necessary, by use in combination with a good degreaser.
In addition to the type of pressure washer hot water or cold water, it is important to choose a machine that is well made, has a good mix of power and range, and also a good warranty.
