Adhesive American Foam - ml. 500 - polyurethane saratoga
Ideal for building materials and for solid, uniform, regular and shrink-free materials such as: panels (eg plasterboard, OSB, multilayer), decorative elements and coatings, skirting boards and moldings, step and sill covers, small partitions ( calibrated blocks) and angular profiles, etc.
It adheres to substrates such as cement, beton gas, mineral wool, wood and derivatives, expanded or extruded materials (eg polystyrene), PVC, aluminum, etc. It does not need a primer and reaches a high functional resistance in a few minutes.
ADVANTAGES
Assembly Foam with improved initial tack - very strong initial grip at just 1 minute from product delivery.
APPLICATION AND INSTRUCTIONS
Apply to surfaces that are clean and degreased, compact, smooth and free from friable parts.
Shake the bottle vigorously before each use.
Use the gloves inserted in the cylinder cap to avoid contact with the skin.
screw the adapter to the valve nozzle, avoiding pressing, in order not to operate the valve,
For optimum performance, a + 18 + 22 ° C tank temperature is ideal. Use upside down. Do not moisten surfaces or foam adhesive.
For the assembly of panels: sand in case of particularly oily coatings; apply an adhesive strip of 2-3 cm in diameter around the perimeter of the panel; keep a distance of approx. 4-5 cm from the edges and finish the application by extruding in a zig-zag pattern. Wait about 60 "then press the panel firmly against the wall. The adhesive must cover over 5% of the bonding surface. The initial tack is further increased by working in "attack-detach" mode, ie by removing and reapplying the object during the repositioning time (however within 4-5 '). Use a level to ensure flatness.
For gluing steps and window sills: depending on the width, apply 2-3 parallel strips with a diameter of approx. 2 cm along the horizontal sides (10-15 cm away from each other). Wait about 60 "then press hard.
For moldings: apply a continuous bead of 2-3 cm in diameter to the middle of the molding itself. Wait about 60 "then press hard.
For decorative elements (such as polystyrene rosettes): the adhesive must cover at least 50% of the bonding surface; apply to small curbs or points. Wait about 60 "then press hard. The initial tack is further increased by working in "attack-detach" mode, ie by removing and reapplying the object during the repositioning time (however within 4-5 ').
For blocks and partitions: the first layer of blocks can only be fixed if on a totally leveled and uniform material. For rectified hollow blocks, keep a large curb in the middle, at least 4-5 cm in diameter, instead for rectified unperforated blocks (such as cellular concrete or aerated concrete or autoclaved, beton gas) the diameter of the curbs can be reduced to 2 cm . Keep a distance of approx. 4-5 cm from the edges and in the case of sections> 15 cm apply 2 curbs.
The fresh foam adhesive is cleaned with acetone. When hardened it is removed with a razor blade.
