Bostik Liquid Rubber Tape method self-vulcanizing method self-vulcanizing seals, protects, repairs and insulates all of the materials.

The tape is 100% impermeable to air and water, adheres to itself and can be used in any situation: indoor and outdoor and even under water.

Fields of application

Repair: quickly and easily as tubes (rigid, flexible tubes and pipes for irrigation, pipe fittings and sumps. Perfect for repairing and sealing quick and easy of loss.

Waterproof: junctions, connections, sockets and electric cables. Also suitable for sealing and insulating electrical cables.

Protect: can be used to make non-slip tools, and handles. Protects from rust.

Instructions of use

It is not necessary to clean the surface. Avoid, however, the accumulation of dirt between the layers during the wrapping process.

Cut the amount of tape required.

Remove the protective film from the tape.

Apply the first layer so that the ribbon is completely overlapped by himself.

Extend the belt of 200-300% and then proceed to wrap it around the surface, maintaining an overlap of the tape to itself of 50%.

Apply the last layer with an overlay full of the tape to itself, and press with force.

The fusion process takes only a few seconds. The more it is extended the tape during the wrapping process, the more rapidly melting occurs.

Preparation

Pre-treatment of the surfaces: it is not necessary to clean the surfaces. Avoid, however, the accumulation of dirt between the layers during the wrapping process.

Stains/Residue

The tape can be removed by cutting it off, does not leave traces of adhesive.
