The DOCMA VF155 Automatic Ultralight winch is the latest innovation from DOCMA, perfect for felling and moving large logs, as well as for recovering other materials, such as in hunting.

The name "Ultralight" comes from the use of ultra-light materials, which offer exceptional strength without adding unnecessary weight. To further optimize lightness, this model is equipped with a high-strength textile rope instead of the traditional steel rope. This choice not only reduces the overall weight, but also decreases the risk of abrasion and improves the automatic winding and unwinding of the rope.

All components are entirely made in Italy, guaranteeing the highest quality. The SOLO engine, manufactured in Germany, offers a displacement of 54.20 cc and a power of 3.1 HP (about 2.3 kW), ensuring high and reliable performance.

Massimo's usage tips and suggestions:

The VF155 forestry winch is impressive, given its power/weight ratio, in fact it weighs only 25 KG but can pull up to 1,485 KG if used directly; while if used with a return pulley it can pull up to 2,970 KG.
It mounts the German "SOLO" engine, synonymous with reliability and quality, it is also supplied with 80 meters of super resistant DY textile cable. It is good practice to always use return pulleys for winches. The cable must be well aligned with the winder. Otherwise it risks jamming and getting damaged. I therefore recommend purchasing one or even two pulleys.
I recommend it with my eyes closed, because it is produced in ITALY by DOCMA , a company that has been among the best in the agro-forestry sector for several years.
